This lovely Petoskey stone is in a handmade sterling silver setting that has been imprinted with a mandala pattern.

This pendant is about 1.75 inches in diameter.

Petoskey stones are a fossilized coral most often found in Lake Michigan.  The vast majority are found in the Little Traverse Bay region of Lake Michigan near the towns of Petoskey and Harbor Springs, Michigan.  Petoskey stone is the state fossil of Michigan and beloved by rockhounds and beach walkers. This stone was found, cut, and polished here in Northern Michigan by a local craftsmen.

I forged this original setting from sheet metal and wire with a saw, hammer, and soldering torch in my Northern Michigan workshop.

This comes with a sturdy sterling silver chain. Please specify 16, 18, or 20 inches long for the chain.  See the photo for a chain length guide. I wear a similar pendant and prefer a 16 inch chain with a pendant this size, though an 18 inch might be best on many people.

Each piece that leaves my workshop is marked on the back with "IE" so you know it is an IndigoEdenArts original.  The .925 marking identifies it as sterling silver.

Enjoy!
