This pendant features a lovely triangular piece of Fordite.  This "stone" is actually automobile paint that had accumulated on equipment in the Ford assembly plants.  Entreprising folks realized that this hardened paint could be cut and turned into jewelry.  So not only is it lovely, but it is a wonderful piece of Michigan history.

I designed, hand-cut, and textured this sterling silver setting in my Northern Michigan workshop. I added a patina to bring out the texture and warmth of the silver.

Please choose a chain length for your pendant.  I have included a reference photograph. If in doubt, 18 inches is a very popular length.

Each piece that leaves my workshop is marked on the back with "IE" so you know it is an IndigoEdenArts original and ".925" which certifies that it is made of sterling silver.
