This lovely Petoskey Stone pendant is reversible. One side showcases the highly polished fossil with a beautiful pattern. The other side uses that stone as a backdrop for a forest scene cut from the sterling silver setting.
This piece is approximately 1.5 inches tall and 1.5 inches across.
Petoskey stones are fossils of an ancient coral. They are mostly found in the area around Little Traverse Bay in Northern Michigan.
I designed, hand-cut and textured this sterling silver setting in my Northern Michigan workshop. The "stone" was cut and polished by a local craftsmen.
Please choose a chain length for your pendant. I have included a reference photograph. If in doubt, 18 inches is a very popular length.
Each piece that leaves my workshop is marked on the back with "IE" so you know it is an IndigoEdenArts original and ".925" which certifies that it is made of sterling silver.
Enjoy!
