This is pendant features a sterling silver tree growing from a lovely round pudding stone. I hand-cut this setting from sterling silver to fit this beautiful stone.
This pendant is about 2.25 inches tall including the bail and just over .75 inches wide.
Michigan Pudding Stones are a conglomerate of tan quartizite with colored pebbles sprinked throughout. They are found at the Northern edges of Lake Huron. This one is a nice beach sand color with red and orange pebbles.
I forged this original setting from sheet metal and wire with a saw, hammer, and soldering torch in my Northern Michigan workshop. I gave it all a nice patina to bring out the texture.
This comes with a sterling silver chain. Please specify 16, 18, or 20 inches long for the chain. See the photo for a chain length guide. If in doubt, 18 inches is a popular length.
Each piece that leaves my workshop is marked on the back with "IE" so you know it is an IndigoEdenArts original. The .925 marking identifies it as sterling silver.
